Northern Star Academies Trust’s vision is to nurture learning in a sustainable environment so that our whole community can thrive, aspire and succeed.

We were founded in April 2015 and since our inception we have achieved a great deal to grow a thriving and dynamic Trust Partnership of 15 primary and secondary schools who serve the vibrant communities of North and West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.

Each school is unique in its contextual differences and yet united in a deeply held belief in the power of great education to change lives.

Through collaboration, we seek to build on each school’s strengths so that we can have a greater impact on our broader Northern Star community.

In a world of constant change, the one chance our children and young people have to experience an excellent education is precious – by working as a partnership of schools we are in constant pursuit of excellence for every child to make their one chance, truly count!

By far the greatest asset in our Trust is our staff and the greatest asset of our Trust is our children, young people and their families – making a positive difference in their lives is what matters!
